The Nuovo Timepiece features water resistance up to 5 atmospheres, meaning this watch can withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 metres. It is protected in everyday life, bathing, accidental splashes, short swimming, car washing, parachuting, hang gliding and skiing. It is resistant to perspiration, water vapour and raindrops. It is not suitable for diving.
