With a long history in buying and selling antiques since our opening in 1986, our collection is carefully curated to bring only the best selection to our discerning clients. Each item we add to our collection is thoroughly researched and tested for authenticity. When asked about what makes an antique fit for acquiring, founder Gerard McCabe said, “We seek to acquire jewellery as closest to its original condition as possible. We don’t necessarily seek out particular styles or eras – good design transcends time, and that is what makes jewellery collectible.”

Starting out in the footsteps of his grandfather, Gerard McCabe and his wife Pauline created Gerard McCabe Jewellers on April 1st, 1986. They focused on second hand, antique jewellery, manufacturing rings and provided a trade valuation service to over 30 jewellery stores.
Over 39 years later, Gerard and his son Justin continue to scour the globe for the best quality antiques to add to the Gerard McCabe collection.
