    This Victorian 18k yellow gold, key wound pocket watch features a hand-engraved casing of floral motifs, swirls and patterning. The dial displays an hand-engraved centre-piece on a gold satin-finished background with golden Roman numerals and spade hands. Fitted with an English Fusee movement, serial number 07879 by the watchmaker S. Harris & Sons of Manchester, London, UK. This watch is in good working order but is not calibrated. The inner case is stamped and hallmarked 7979, 18k, Chester 1893, with makers mark FT. Two keys accompanies this watch, to wind this watch, open the back by pushing down on the push-piece, place the number 7 key into position and wind. To set the time, gently lift the glass at the numeral three and fit the number 5 key at the centre of the hands and turn until the hands reach your desired time.
