A superb Victorian memorial brooch featuring a sealed locket of mother-of-pearl dressed with hand-arranged ornate feathers and flowers created from the loved ones hair. This centrepiece is surrounded by beautiful gold cannetille fine wire-work surrounded by natural pearls. The rear of the brooch is hand-engraved with the initials MEA, Died April 15th 1859. Fitted and secured with a metal pin and hook catch.
