    A beautiful Victorian double bar brooch with scrolls and ball gold-work featuring a central claw set natural solid opal. Secured with a metal bar and hook catch with a safety chain. Stamped and hallmarks with 15ct and makers mark, Townsend.

     

    Gemstone: One natural oval cabochon cut solid light opal, 19.75mm x 10.52mm x 2.28mm, good green-blue spectral colour exchange, estimated weight 3.00cts.
